On of my workstations was HiJacked by a new trojan. Google search could not find any info on the Trojan, Trend officescan found the virus but could not delete nor fix. Norton, Mcaffee, Adaware, Spybot also could not resolve. I downloaded the trial of Stopzilla and this product cleared up the nasty. A day later Trend Micro had a fix for the issue. Needless to say I am now running Stopzilla along with my corporate antivirus. The Seller was also great product arrive early and in perfect condition.

Many people have previously owned Spysubtract from Intermute. Although it was one of the best anti-spyware softwares ever made, many of those owners are set to have a complete overlook to a new version of the spyware software. For those who did own Spysubtract before, you'd have to upgrade to Trend Micro Anti-Spyware 3.0. This software runs exactly like what Spysubtract did, and it delivers much better at detecting spyware, adware and a much more detailed glimpse at the cookies that target and sneak into your life and computer. This is one anti-spyware software I really recommend, it is worth the price.

I installed Pest Patrol last year and it was fairly easy to use but I found the interface to be lame and the instructions confusing at times. When my subscription expired I tried CounterSpy which detected nearly 200 Spyware/Adware infections immediately after a Pest Patrol scan. CounterSpy also removed several hijacking problems that Pest Patrol did not. The CounterSpy interface is easy to use and understand is way ahead of Pest Patrol in this regard. I also use the free version of Ad-Aware and my PC has been running great. I run XP and have had no problems although I have heard of problems with other OS's.

Customer Review: Fine Job of Spycatching, but....
This software works great on a one-user account machine. On a machine with multiple users, it was very buggy. It didn't show it was running in the system tray on accounts other than the one is was installed under and it brought things to a grinding halt if you clicked the desktop icon on these accounts. Recommended for one; not recommeneded if multiple accounts exist on a machine.

I have used this on a number of machines and it is very effective. On one machine it found and eliminated 1400 "pests" as it refers to the spy ware. It is reasonably fast. Install is fairly easy too.

Spyware Killer Pro Customer Review: Useless software
I am glad I bought this as a "free after rebates" software. Tax money still goes waste. User unfriendly, lots of interactions with software you already have. Once the stealth surfer is running, you can not open a new website. The phone lines for Cosmi are always engaged and it takes them days to respond to an email.
